High level work injury seminar

On 1st & 2nd December 2009 the project held a high level seminar on work injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Opened by Vice-Minister Yuan Yanpeng the seminar heard presentations by international experts from 5 European countries describing the prevention and rehabilitation practice in their respective countries. Mr Lu Shihai, Deputy Director of the work injury department of MoHRSS, outlined current Ministry policy in the work injury field and further presentations were given by Professor Sun Shuhan of RenMin University and by a representative of Guangdong province. Representatives of the NPC and State Council and other Ministries participated in the seminar.
